Norvishie specialises in Aesthetic and Invisible braces including Invisalign and Lingual orthodontics. She provides orthodontic care to hypodontia (missing teeth), trauma, cleft and craniofacial cases. Also she specialises in Facial Aesthetics and Anti –snoring devices.
Norvishie is a member of the Registered Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council (UK), General Dental Council (UK), World Federation of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Consultant Orthodontic Group (British Orthodontics Society), Examiner MJDF (Royal College of Surgeons of England), Peer Reviewer for the Cochrane Collaboration (Oral Health Group) and Fellow of the Ghana College of Surgeons.
She has three awards to her credit. Winner Smile Award (Orthodontic Smile) 2009 UK, Runner Up – Smile Award (Orthodontic Smile) 2010 UK and Winner – Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards (Best Achiever in Medical Services) 2019.
Norvishie has worked at Birmingham Dental Hospital (UK), Kings Mill Hospital (UK), Queens Medical Hospital (UK), Nottingham Community Dental Services (UK), University Hospital of North Staffordshire (UK).Currently she is the Lead Clinician and Orthodontic Consultant at Platinum Orthodontic and Advanced Dentistry.
She has over 20 years of brace experience and has over 5000 treated with all brace types. She actively participates in mentoring and training young dental students, newly qualified dentists and general practitioners in the management of orthodontist and general dentistry and also consults at Ghana Dental School. She treats not only the patients at Platinum Dental but also from both local and foreign referring practices.
Norvishie’s chairside is professional, relaxed, kind yet firm and considerate. To her every patient is an individual and should be treated as such.
