Dr. Bennet Appau Adu is a highly qualified dental surgeon with a passion for providing the best possible care to his patients.
He is a member of the Ghana College of Surgeons, Faculty of Dental Surgery, specializing in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Adu holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences (BSc, Med. Sci) from the University of Ghana Dental School.
Dr. Adu’s professional memberships include being a member of the Ghana College of Surgeons, Faculty of Dental Surgery. He received his specialty training at Komfo-Anokye Teaching Hospital and has worked at several prestigious institutions, including Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Dunkwa-On-Offin Municiapl Hospital under the Ghana Health Service, and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. He currently practices at Platinum Dental.
Dr. Adu’s professional goal is to provide the highest standard of preventive and rehabilitative care to dental patients. He is particularly interested in Preventive and Minimally Invasive Dentistry and Multidisciplinary Approach to complex case management. What fascinates him about his work is how a team of different fields coordinates to care for a patient to achieve the patient’s goals.
Dentistry is a satisfying field for Dr. Adu, and he finds motivation in the quest to learn from and replicate nature. In his free time, Dr. Adu enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, and playing video games.
The best advice Dr. Adu ever received is that whatever is alive that doesn’t grow decays. There is no stagnation, so we must always strive to grow or regress. He teaches every patient to be deliberate about knowing their mouth, including every corner, what their teeth look and feel like, and why. That’s the only way to take control of one’s oral health.
Dr. Adu is known to be calm, a good listener, and knowledgeable when working with his patients.
